"I was really struggling to find an activity that wasn’t dancing/gymnastics for my little girl, so I can’t tell you how pleased I am to have found Mighty Netball. It’s a great mix of fun ball/running games and introduction to netball skills – perfect for my daughters age (5 years). She’s always so excited to go and always leaves with a big smile on her face (what more can I ask for?!)"

"I took my daughter to Mighty Netball in Beaconsfield this morning for a trial and she loved it. The coaches were great with the kids and very friendly. Great way to get kids active whilst improving hand and eye coordination and getting them involved in team sports."

"Thanks so much for two amazing parties (3yo and 7yo). They planned fun games for all the kids to play and were very professional with it all. Both my daughters also do Mighty Netball lessons and love playing. I cannot recommend this enough and well done to Corinne and Laura for all their hard work!"

        Founder

        Laura Vila

Laura co-founded Mighty Netball out of a desire to help others feel empowered through sport. She credits her own passion for netball – both as a keen player and as a coach, mentor and umpire – for helping her to develop the confidence and life skills needed to start a successful Sports Therapy business at only 21 years old. Now, she brings this wealth of experience, talent and enthusiasm to Mighty Netball, where her supreme organisation skills ensure the smooth running of the business.

Laura’s calm, positive and nurturing coaching style makes her a firm favourite with the children and she loves getting to know each and every Mighty Netballer (and their equally Mighty parents!) She looks forward to growing the Mighty Netball community still further, and continuing to inspire young people of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy a sport that encourages them to be physical and have fun.

        Corinne Askey

Having played and coached netball at National level, Corinne brings her treasure-trove of sporting knowledge and passion to Mighty Netball. Renowned for being a determined player and supportive leader on the court, as well as a skilled commercial accountant in Industry, she now applies this grit and enthusiasm to all aspects of managing and developing the Mighty Netball venture.

When Corinne isn’t working hard behind the scenes, she can be found bringing her beaming smile and unwavering warmth to every session she coaches; the children light up when they see ‘Coach Coz‘!  When Corinne isn’t living and breathing all things Mighty, she spends time with her young family, or on the netball court with teammate Laura and their local team.
