This is a chance for our all venues to come together and experience match play at a tournament, learning about competing in a supportive and nurturing environment where participation and hard work are valued above winning. We celebrate all the progress that has been made through the year.
The tournament will be themed with netballers grouped into teams made from their existing Mighty friends from their home Mighty locations. Each team will be led by one of our superb Mighty Coaches.
AND, you can even bring your friends that haven’t been to Mighty! The tournament is open to all in years 1 to 6 (although we do recommend you have played a bit of netball before but it’s not essential), send us an email if there are any friends you particularly want to be teamed up with and we will do our absolute best to make that happen. We can’t wait to see you all there!
Our Mighty values shine through, effort and attitude are praised as highly as winning. Teams have a dedicated coach who stays with them throughout all their matches and helps them to bond with their teammates and supports them through an exciting day.
We’re celebrating the World Cup this year with children all representing countries of the world. It’s encouraged to celebrate your country by wearing national colours, face paint flags and hair accessories all encouraged! (as long as they are netball safe)
Anyone in years 1-6 currently can enter the tournament, plus there is a free 45 minute session for children aged 3 to 5 at 12pm.
Yes bring a (small) gazebo to shelter from the elements, chairs, blankets and picnics all encouraged, you’ll be directed to the family zone to set up camp.
The exact number depends on the number of teams and therefore the length of the matches, this gets worked out once bookings close on 17th June, but in tournament style they will have a mix of playing lots and having some breaks.
A responsible adult needs to be on site at all times for your child – but one adult can be responsible for more than one child at a time. Coaches are responsible for the children only during their matches. At all other times, families are responsible for their child.
Yes, hot and cold drinks, bacon baps and snacks will be available on site to purchase, or you can walk 3 mins down to the High St.

Yes you can bring whatever you like with the exception of alcohol, please take away all recycling, rubbish bags will be provided on site for any non recyclables.
No, the whole site and car parks are a NO DOG zone.
Yes, bring whoever you like, the more the merrier (except the dog sadly).
Sports trainers, appropriate sports clothing – mostly importantly layers to cope with all weathers, we know we can get all 4 seasons in a day and a Mighty tournament usually brings out some varied weather!
As long as conditions are safe, the tournament will go ahead. If the weather looks poor, check our social media and your email. If you haven’t heard from us we are on!
Yes! Anyone in years 1-6 is most welcome
If you have requested this by emailing bookings@mightynetball.co.uk before 17th June, then it is highly likely we will meet this request. If you don’t request specifically then they will be placed with children they know from their regular venue.
Yes, just tell us before 17th June so we can plan accordingly.
If you feel they will cope with lots of match play then they are most welcome, their coach will help them through the day.
£30 per child, 15% discount for second and subsequent children.
